I am so happy we had a short and not so cold winter in Nashville and that spring is in the air! There is something about spring that makes me smile, it is after all my favorite season, perhaps because I was born in the "city of eternal spring" or maybe it is the arrival of new growth and transformation. The truth is that I am welcoming this season with open arms. Hoping for new beginnings and for new opportunities to photograph beauty!
Being a mother has its challenges to be certain, but yet even the challenges seem blessings. I rediscovered my passion for photography thanks to the birth of my little one. At that time, I remember my mind being inundated with images...the kind of images I wished I could transform into a photograph because they would last forever.
Photographs are magical in that sense, they capture a moment that will never be repeated in time. It is that magic that enchants me deeply.

There is nothing like the joys of photographing newborns... you seem to forget how little babies are when they are born. Mr. L was a tough one to photograph, but he gave some sweet opportunities to take keepsake memories for his parents :)
Saturday, I was given the opportunity to photograph a beautiful baby boy with the most beautiful name. I was enchanted by his easy going personality and his love for a charming little and colorful stuffed toy named Elvis!... Everybody should have an "Elvis"!. Here is a sneak peek...

I think that babies sleeping are the most peaceful beings in earth... such a beautiful moment to be able to observe and photograph. A 10 days old that wanted to stay awake but went into dream land enough for me to captures these precious moments.
